Republican Voters overwhelmingly want to make sure that medical professionals are making final decisions about insurance coverage claims that get filtered through artificial intelligence. 85% of respondents disagreed with the idea insurers using AI without human oversight to make decisions on which medical procedures should be covered with 58% strongly disagreeing with the idea. Conversely, 76% of respondents agree that a trained medical profession should review any recommendations derived by AI before a denial is made with 59% strongly agreeing with the idea.
